How do DHCP and IP assignment work?

Each node provides built-in DHCP routing by default, dynamically assigning an IP address to clients, regardless of which SSID they've connected to. Nodes are capable of assigning 1,022 IP addresses per SSID.

If you'd prefer to use the DHCP server on your LAN, you can enable Bridge mode on any SSID (one by default; multiple if you enter a VLAN tag). With this enabled, we'll forward all requests to your internal DHCP.
